The Botterill family are located 20 minutes down the road from Gelston in Croxton Kerrial and have proudly kept the family farms traditional farming practices which have been perfected over generations. 
 
Growing chickens for at least 100 days gives them a chance to lay down fat, which adds to the flavour and moisture of the bird when cooked.
This also results in the birds being slightly bigger, which means there is always some leftover chicken for sandwiches! The chickens are dry-plucked with no added water, which makes them perfect for quick roasting.

All the Chickens come with giblets, which can be used to make the best gravy. This is included in the bird weight.
